Hey everyone I'm new to the forum and I've done a ton of research but haven't been able to decide exactly what to choose. I'm getting a new platinum with the 6.2L soon and want to lift it on 35s. I can't find many reviews on ride quality for the 6" fabtech (dirt logic coilover and rear) $3000, 6" pro comp (mx2.75 coilover an mx-6) $2700, or bds with fox rear and what kind of coilovers does bds offer if any? Which one has the best ride quality basically?

I am purchasing a 6'' lift for my 2011 FX4 and am wanting to purchase 37x13.5x20 tires, will if fit my truck without any trimming or any heavy trimming?....and the answer to your question about lift kits. I have a 6" lift and stock shocks. Does it soften the ride? Is it better for off roading? I won't lie, my truck will hardly ever see mud. Is it worth it for me to upgrade to these guys?

Great looking truck man. I have a question for ya. What advantage are you getting with the coilovers? I literally know almost nothing about trucks other than I need to fill it up with gas and change the oil.

As far as offroading, it does make a difference. I don't do a lot of offroading, we only go 2-3 times a year but it does make a difference. The truck rides much better and not as rough.
I think the coil overs are a great upgrade, and I'll always add them to future trucks after this experience.

No problem with the questions, I've asked them all before! I thought my truck rode really nice with the BDS lift, and no coil overs. The reason I got the coilovers was to add lift to the front and attempt to level the truck. After installing the coilovers I realized a huge improvement in ride quality. Its much smoother, and I've had plenty of guys tell me its the smoothest riding lifted truck they've ever been in. It still has the BDS rear shocks, but I'm also upgrading those to King's in the near future.

Completely forgot to post my lift and everything on this thread guys. Here's the set up I'm running, my thoughts, and a couple things I'm trying to sell if anyone's interested.
I went with the 6" BDS coilover kit that has the 2.5" Fox Resi coilovers and 2.0" Fox shocks in the rear. And instead of the 5" block I went with the stock 1.5" block and 4" leaf springs. The ride is pretty good for a truck on 37's if you ask me. I got 37x13.50R20 toyo m/t on 20x9 5.75 BS Fuel Throttles.
I'm planning on replacing my rear 1.5" block with a 1" I have at the house and maybe that'll smooth out the rear. If I do that it'll put the front at 1/4" higher than the rear so since the guy who put my lift on put the coilovers on the wrong sides I'm taking it to the shop to get the swapped and having them crank them another 3/4" to make the front 1" higher. Also when I get the money I'm getting some Raptor Performance Group off-road Tie Rods and Camburg upper control uniball arms.
