Damn....I guess it would be better just buying an old beater to drive during winter

Rock chip month after I bought truck. Called insurance got it filled but still noticeable. 3 years later I don't stare at it anymore...
Was like a slow motion thing when it happened watching something fly from a lane beside me, go over two cars, and smack right into my windshield.

Let's just say that Alaska would make a fine province, connects right up to BC anyways, and I'm sure they completely understand the windshield issue as the minor annoyance it is to enjoy the benefits of the life style. Places a tough truck just seems mandatory.
I do visit the lower 48 every year just to see the sights and see how our southern cousins handle all that heat and drought. Pretty tough people to live with so little water and forest.....

Open spaces, less urban congestion, huge areas of wilderness, lots of wildlife (even the endangered and dangerous), higher quality of life, health care system, safer society,.... I could go on for a while.

And I will add the US federal corporate tax rate is rubbish...... way to damn high. It's the reason Burger King bought Tim Hortons..... now they can move head office to Canada and enjoy 15%..... Hmm...... sounds a lot better than 34% or so stateside. I know as a business owner I wouldn't want to live there.....I can deal with the odd broken windshield.

add less ignorant people to that list. And I can travel anywhere in the world and not have to worry about being kidnapped or admitting I'm 'merican
