Milt IV

Quick rundown. Put on the Zone 6" lift on my 2010 FX2. Had about 1.5" rake in the rear.

Added 1.5" AS level spacers. Caused all my suspension geometry to be way off, rode like crap, ball joints maxed out, upper CAs hitting spring, ALL BAD.

Took the AS spacers off to bring the front end back down to where it was with just the zone 6". Aadded 1.5" drop shackles to the rear to bring the back down and now it finally sits level, rides AMAZING, all my angles are good, everybody happy happy happy.

Cleaned it all up today and snapped some pics.

Good job Milt! Damn that looks good. Amazing the transformation from a few weeks ago. Did you measure to see how much difference between the drop and the lift?

Probably one a the best looking trucks I've seen! Just a clean looking not overdone truck!


I could be partial as that is the same color I have and that is how I want my truck to look like even down to the rims!

Thanks! I did measure but it's kind of hard to get an accurate measurement from the bottom of the fender to the center of the axle because the tires stick out pretty far. I know I was at 4.5"/6.5" of drop from STOCK and now I'm approximately 6"/4" higher than STOCK. So a total of about 10.5"/10.5" difference from the drop to the lift.
