Default 6.2L exhaust kits

I recently got into a 2011 lariat limited with the 6.2L. I'm looking at doing the exhaust next and have been browsing kits without much luck. Seems like most part numbers I come up with are for the Raptor or for 5.0L F150s. I assume Raptor kits do not fit a standard F150 but I've been wrong before.

So
Question 1 (and 1.5): Is there a difference between the 5.0L exhaust and the 6.2L exhaust, post cat that is? if so how much would need to be modified?

Question 2: Which aftermarket kit/muffler is most recommended? I'm torn between going with a nice loud kit and not waking up my neighbors every time I start my truck.

Thanks!!

The 5.0 and 6.2 share the exact same system, the same system also fits the 3.7 with a different inlet pipe that was included. The only system that's different is the 3.5TT. I found this out when I bought my Magnaflow cat back system and read the instruction sheet included.

The only real difference is wheel base, the Super cab with 6.5 box and Super crew with 5.5 box share the same wheel base.

EDIT: This information only applies to 2011-2014.

The OEM Raptor 6.2L S-Crew exhaust is a simple bolt-on swap to the OEM F150 6.2L S-Cab (only) due to common wheelbase dimensions and hanger location points. For clarification, Raptor S-Crew with 5.5' bedbox is equivalent to F150 S-Cab with 6.5' bedbox whereas Raptor S-Cab with 5.5' bedbox has shorter wheelbase and resulting shorter OEM catback exhaust dimensions. With those considerations, seems aftermarket fitment would follow similarly. In any case, the OEM Raptor 6.2L S-Crew won't fit an F150 6.2L S-Crew without modifications, i.e., too short due to wheelbase differences.

I have an '11 Lariat Supercrew 4x4. In October of 2010 I did a special order, and ordered her with the 6.2. I took delivery in Jan., '11. Later that summer I started searching on line for headers and an exhaust system. At the time, everything I found in a 6.2 was listed as being for the Raptor. It had appeared that the basic drive train was the same (engine, trans, exhaust, etc.). Of course gear ratios, suspension were different, but looked like exhaust would fit. I liked what I saw from Stainless Works. I gave them a call, and after a short discussion I purchased the Long Tube Headers, and performance dual exhaust with the high flow cats., X-pipe, and chambered mufflers. Plus it had a limited Lifetime warranty. After I received them I had my dealer install the system. That was in Nov. of 2011. It's been great. A few months ago the bracket ahead of the mufflers broke at the welds. I called Stainless Works. They sent me a complete set of updated brackets under warranty. Great company.

Thanks for the info everyone! That really opens up my options.

I've had my eye on the flowmaster outlaw kit with the super 10 and dual exit, mostly for price, exit style, and volume..... that said it might be time to grow up and go with something a little classier lol.

Just for arguments sake, mine had a Roush Exhaust on it when I bought it and at least mine is notorious for drone, so something really loud might not be the right muffler if you like to say talk in the truck

Those instructions I posted say for 2011 but it fits 2011-2014, my truck is a 2013. It's known as the mildest system you can buy. Just a touch louder than stock around town but when you plant the go pedal it lets you know there's 8 cylinders pumping.

Took me about 30 mins to install in my driveway.
