Yeah, I listened to a couple on there. Nothing of good quality anyway. How long has your system been on? Is it corroding anywhere or does it still look fairly new? I like Bank's tip. Is it welded or clamped on? Can't decide if I like the chrome tip or the black.

It's a clamp on tip. The kit also comes along with a nice TORCA band clamp in 3.5" for the tip (look them up if you're not familiar, very good clamps) but just the cheaper standard U-Style clamps for the rest of it. I purchased more TORCA clamps off eBay for my install. Still came up one short and had to use one of the basic clamps but did have it tacked in place once torqued down. Just not sure how it will hold up over the years cosmetically. Here's a pic of said clamp, other than this one everything else is the TORCA style:

Also I did not use the included Banks tip from the kit. It's a VERY nice tip (I went with the chrome one) but just not for me. The included tailpipe actually looks great I think. It's flared out to a 3.5" outlet and looks like stock but more aggressive.

Thanks for the pics and tip on the clamps. Luckily, my truck isn't due to be built till the end of the month, so I have a little time to decide between the two brands. I like them both very much!

Where does the Banks system connect at on the factory exhaust? The MBRP looks like it connects at the flange in front of the resonator.

If you have an EC or SCREW it actually connects right up after the resonator. Only reason I had to remove my resonator is because the system isn't designed as a direct for for a RC. I could have keep the resonator but I would have had to have some piping made which wouldn't have been a major problem really.

And thats where mbrp is nice... it connects at the flange on the y pipe on the front. That section from the resonator to the muffler is where it necks down to 2.5" pipe and should be replaced.

Well guys, been busy the past month, so haven't been on the forums much. Got my truck in last month (still need to do a new thread with pics of mods, etc).

Ended up going with the MBRP cat-back. I've had it on for almost 2 weeks maybe. Put around 200 miles on it. I like the sound, but the wife hates the slight drone you get at around 1800rpms, which seems to be the range I drive in mostly. I've talked to MBRP about this and apparently there is nothing I can do to fix it without it costing me more $$$. My wife gets migraines frequently, so she is very sensitive to any amount of drone. So, as soon as I get time next week, it's coming off and will be posted in the classifieds. Might try the Borla kit. I need a little sound.
