Default 6.2L 2011 New owner!

Sold my 2006 XLT white truck to a very nice family that should enjoy it for a long time to come. Here is all the work I did to it while I had it. Great truck, gave me over 30k miles of trouble free service. https://www.f150forum.com/f4/ford-f-...-again-213517/

Found a great deal on this 2011 with 21k miles and a lot of options with the 6.2L engine. Will miss my white truck as it has been nothing but perfect. It will be nice to have one with such low miles now as we now have 3 kiddos. The 2009+ have a lot more room in the crew cabs then my 06 did. Not that I needed it as the 06 had a lot of room. 4WD is nice to have a 100k miles less is much better. The 6.2L is just a beast. So much grunt and that is without any tuner... Yet...
Enjoy some pics.

Maybe you guys could help me out with some details about my truck... I just haven't seen to many of these like this with this configuration. I absolutly love the 6.2 it is a joy to drive. I haven't filled it up yet though...

Very nice truck. I just picked up a red candy 2012 XLT myself. I like the color matched spray in bed liner. Mind me asking what you paid? You can pm if you'd like, just curious since I just bought mine.

2011 f150 6.2 5 star tunes 0-80 - YouTube

Awesome! So is mine the platinum then or just a regular lariat. Since I bought it used, 2nd owner, I have no clue what rear end it has. I assume I have the 3.73 as it has the trailer brake and big tow mirrors and I turn 1,750 RPM at 65. 36 gallon tank would be nice.

I have been reading up on them. On my old 5.4 just the canned edge tune made a world of difference. I have been reading a bit on those custom tunes and for the price I will just do that.

What tunes did you purchase? like 87 performance 91 performance or 87 tow or others? I don't tow often, but say 2-5 times a year, and even then its not a long ways.

Wow thanks for all that information! Found the original window sticker. I will match it up with the printed one I got from carmax last night to see if they match. Thanks for the info!
Thanks for your list of which tunes you run.

Which one do you spend most of your time using?

I know on the edge I used the premium tune because it actually netted me better gas mileage, enough to offset the additional fuel costs.

So far driving this truck has been just great. Loving the extra size of the cab vs my 06 super crew. The extra height of the 4x4 as well is great!

I'd love to drive a 6.2L not on 35's (raptor) to see how quick those bad boys are. Nice find!
