Default 5 Star Tune

So I just got my 5 star tune, and so far so good. I am currently running the 87 perf/tow tune, and will post a more indepth review after a week or two. In the meantime I was curious about switching between the 3 custom tunes. Do you have to return the car back to stock before choosing another custom tune. Or can you switch directly between custom tunes no problem. If anyone has experience with this I would appreciate the advice.

I have switched several times without returning to stock first. No problems whatsoever.

No you don't have to switch back to stock before switching to another tune. A fair warning if you do need to return it back to stock though, It take about minutes longer to return it to stock or tune it from stock than just jumping from tune to tune. Why? I don't know.

I have a silly question, Have you returned it back to stock tune before taking your truck into the dealer?

Yes I have and still do even when they know about it. Sometimes dealers apply updates to your truck's PCM which might change the strategy. In this case you would have to call Mike and tell him your new strategy so he can send you updated tunes.

Yes, I do it every time as they may flash the computer for whatever reason and don't want to lose tune or lock something up.
