Default 5.5ft Box & ATV

I did some searching but didn't find any pics to
To what I wanted to know. My old truck was a 6.5ft supercab but I didn't want to have that long of a box with the supercrew. The new truck I am picking up is 5.5ft. I know my quad will fit in there without a toolbox & tailgate down but with one it will be very very close or it may not work. Anyone have pics of there ATV in the 5.5 bed. If you have a tool box on your 5.5ft bed, how would you think of going about loading your ATV? Front tires ontop of the toolbox & make some sort of tie down mounts that attach to the top of the toolbox?

Let me know what you think and Post some pics up of what you got! (Yes once again I know I could have got the 6.5ft & it would be easier but I didn't like the look on a supercrew, I'd rather make it work with my quad on a 5.5ft box).

P.s mine is a sports quad ...Yamaha raptor 700 so it's not as big as a utility

How big is the tool box? I had an Outlander in my 5.5' bed without a tool box and the rear tires were about 4 inches onto the tailgate. Your Raptor might be good. If not you could make some ramps and put the front up onto the box like you thought.

Store the atv on top of a diamondback and keep the bed for storage.

I can fit my honda rancher in a 5.5 bed with a full size toolbox. I have about an inch between the tool box and the 4-wheeler and the tires are an inch from the end of tailgate. I use my LA Guard dog to keep the four wheeler from coming off the tailgate. With the LA Guard Dog the 4-wheeler won't fall out of the truck.

Ya a friend mentioned that set up, I didn't even know these existed. Pretty cool the way he explained it

Ok thanks, I had to google LA Guard dog thought it was a bed extender but wasn't sure...glad I did or I would have sounded foolish Lol ...I actually like that a lot it saves you from having to strap it down, the only thing is that all those pics it hooks up to the ATV hitch but I have a sports quad so I'm not sure where I would hook it up too

My fourwheeler fits fine in the bed and I have a toolbox. I probably have an inch of room and it never moves with one strap on it
