5.5 vs. 6.5 bed? pics-regrets?

Went from 8' to two 6.5'ers to 5.5' screw and don't regret it. Parking is easier and they look fine to me. I do have three trailers 8', 15' and 20' so that may make it less of a trade off for me.

I park out in BFE anyway because I don't want anyone hitting my truck with their door.

Having had a SD crew w/8ft bed you get used to parking away from everybody. With the new truck it will continue. each person picks what they like, i chose a 6.5 because the 5.5 looked way too small, maybe there are some advantages, i just didnt see it.

That truck looks AWESOME. I want a lift so bad but don't want to sacrifice mpg.
what kind of mileage do you get with that beast?

I think its funny you guys consider a 6.5 screw a long truck. It is not long at all. Like already mentioned, it's considered a short bed. I use to drive a 2007 ram 2500 crew cab long box in a congested city. Now driving a 1/2 ton it feels tiny.

So do I but I always get that one jackass who parks right next to my truck when the entire lot is empty. So annoying. I swear they do it on purpose because one time some guy parked within inches of my driver side door.

One time i had a little car squeeeze in between my passenger side and the vehicle beside me like literally 2 inches away from both vehicles... I don't even know how they got out of they're car

Favorite truck on the forum, I'm a little biased with the dark blue 6.5 screw though!!
