I have a 2014 fx2, screw with factory running boards. I know ford doesn't make the factory retractable bed steps for my model but they do for the 2015 and up, the real small ones, my local dealer told me it will not bolt yo but has anyone tried to modify or make a bracket so they will work? I really want to stay with the ford oem

No they will not. The frame is completely different. The holes will line up but they will not fit. I spent 3 hours trying two weeks ago and all I got was busted knuckles and a cut up set of retractable steps.
