And the local parts store sells a domed Ford emblem that's gonna fit perfect in the oval on it. Will post pics of that tomorrow!!

Hey Wayne,
Does that kit use the factory vent tube to the cam cover? It definitely looks like it angles it out of the way for the engine cover to fit. My K&N uses the factory tube, but takes the original routing and does just clear the top cover. Of course a actual flexible one from the parts store can be used if necessary.

Great! I love the Ford oval, fits perfect! When I looked at the CAI I didnt realize the JR kit used all the stock box, and it was more pricey like the rest or I would have definitely went with that one. But you found a really good deal, because I paid $198 to the door and you beat that, Awesome deal! Cant wait to see how yours looks with the engine cover. I painted my coil covers low gloss black and it turned out great.

I've been running mine for about a week now and think I'm gonna be taking it off. It feels like I lost a bit of low end power and I can only hear a slight increase in sound over stock and it's only for a few hundred RPM's and then I don't hear it anymore. Another thing I don't like is that it can sound very boggy down low. I did disconnect the battery during the install and reflashed the PCM with my 87 custom tune. I'm gonna go back to just running the stock tube and drop in filter. Anyone else that have one experience this?

Do you have a tune with your Jr kit?

I really like the looks of it and wouldn't mind getting rid of the stock tube so the engine would be a little louder, but don't have a tune and definitely don't want to rob the engine of any low end power.
