Default 5.0 turbo type sound

I've been hearing a "turbo" kind of whistle sound right around 2000 rpms up til it shifts gears. I only notice it when the engine is at operating temp. Has anyone else had sounds like this. It has 18k on it. Thanks

Lol, that's what I was thinking!

Watch out, that wet fart sound is Geno's mating call. You might find him molesting your truck!

On a serious note could be an exhaust leak of some sort.

I guess by Eco Dream you meant a Intercooled Wet Dream??? haha

Mine does this also...I'm thinking its something to do with the intake maybe having a leak or not sealing well around the air box? Doesn't need to be at operating temp for me, it'll do it first shift. Doesn't bother me bad enough to take to dealer. My truck only has 4k on it and its done it since new...curious to see if happening to anyone else or what it really is...

easier test, with the truck running, take a can of carb cleaner and spray around the intake gasket, and air box. if it changes the idle, leak detected.
