Pulled the originals to check at around 26K and re-gapped. Then I went ahead at 28K I believe and installed new set and gapped them down to the lowest side as I have a tuner. Truck runs great and no issues. No more rattle or ping either as it did on the stock tune and now does not whether stock tune or performance. I usually run 93 octane as gas prices are down.

Yes still run the air aid panel filter in stock box with air aid jr tube for the engine cover to fit. I gaped my plugs to .044 even though they call for a larger gap cause I run performance tunes and no issues with truck. I also have a catch can installed that I check every couple months and dump. usually just a couple of tablespoons full in there as my oil stick seems to stay the same on my 5k or every 6months which ever comes first oil change intervals.

So far so good. I took the truck in to have it checked for a ever so faint knock that seems to be gone, and mainly the occasional low rpm 1100 ping or rattle. Ford said they could not find anything but did extend my warranty on out through 2016 and I believe 75K miles.I put a little sea foam in my gas and a small amount of marvel mystery oil in my crank case before a oil change.I haven't used any of those since then. I also have been using in moderation lucas upper cylinder cleaner in my gas. I haven't used any lately since running 93 octane and I mix a little E85 about $10 bucks worth every 5 or 6 fill ups. Currently on stock tune and runs perfect, no noise, ping or knock. I have hooked up the x4 and checked the knock on the stock tune and it really swings from -4.99 to 5.99. I will probably stay with the lucas upper cylinder cleaner on a regular basis and the 93 gas as long as it is cheaper like now.
