Default 5.0 Spark Plug change

Just curious as to when others have been changing out their plugs on the 5.0? I know the manual says they're good for 100xxx miles but I would never wait that long!

I checked mine at about 50K and regapped them. a couple were off, rest were fine. electrodes looked fine.

I'd pull them to check on them, but I wouldn't stress about em.

I'm pulling mine when I hit 30k to check the gap and condition of the plugs. Shouldn't need anything other than a quick cleaning then. At 60k I'll be looking a little closer at them to make sure there's no damage or worn electrodes.

I did mine a 70K. Electrodes were just starting to show a little wear.

I changed mine at 60k, but didn't need to. They all looked fine. There were 2 where the gap was over spec, but nothing crazy. I was just going to check them and put back in, but figured I already have them out to go ahead and just change them to make myself feel better.

Pull them at 50K, clean and re-gap should be fine.

I'm at 92k now on my '14. I'll probably pull them in the next few weeks.

Pulled the originals to check at around 26K and re-gapped. Then I went ahead at 28K I believe and installed new set and gapped them down to the lowest side as I have a tuner. Truck runs great and no issues. No more rattle or ping either as it did on the stock tune and now does not whether stock tune or performance. I usually run 93 octane as gas prices are down.

Do you still run your air-raid air filter? What did you gap the plugs to?
Thanks
