Just an FYI, but most Uhaul trailers are only rated for 55 mph.

Since its low profile you should be around 12-14 at those speeds on average. I've pulled uhauls before and they pull easy.

No way that trailer could weigh 5k. I work at u haul.

X2 2500lbs is max for that trailer. I should know, just towed that 3 months ago. And i got 13-14 mpg's with my 4.6l. With the 5.0 you should get the same if not better.

Just so you know, the 55 is for their insurance. A district manager at a Wichita, KS U-Haul told me that. The tires, axles, etc are rated for much more than that but for liability purposes they put a limitation on the speed. Just like the speed limiter on the trucks. It's just to cover their ass. If you get into a wreck and they find out you were going over 55 at the time they can get out of paying for damages, or make you pay for the damages in full for voiding the contract.

Might want to look into a different trailer then. If you're using the same one i rented (pic in last post), that trailer is only rated to tow 2500lbs fully loaded. Not sure doubling the recommended weight is a good idea.

I think it shows on the uhaul website a little bit more than 2500lbs plus the trailer it self weights around 1900lbs if am not wrong. I need to double check it one more time
Thanks!

They say "nearly 2500lbs." If i remember correctly, it said 2380lbs on the trailer itself
