The new 5.0L "Coyote" has been out since 2011 in both the Mustang and F-150 variations. The old 302 5.0L "Windsor" or "Cleveland" is not the same as the new one. In fact, the old 5.0L was 4,942 cc which is a 4.9L if you round down, but Ford already had a 4.9L which was a straight 6. The new 5.0L is 4,951 cc which if you round up is a 5.0L. The two engines are completely different in every way.
