The new exhaust sounds a lot deeper. Any droning on the highway? I find the new 5.0 quieter than the my old 5.4 with a Magnaflow catback but I am actually enjoying the quiet more so I think I will leave the exhaust alone for now.

You can go to your local muffler shop and get a custom exhaust with flowmaster 40 series if you dont mind it being loud all the time or with a magnaflow. In my area that set up runs between $300-350.

I absolutely love my 40 series on the 5.0. Every person that has heard it loves it. I went from a 5.7 hemi with dynamax headers, CAI, and super 40, it was a little to loud. Well, to loud for others. LOL Got my SI/DO 40 series and dual 4inch chrome tips for 250 from local muffler shop.

I'm guessing for the prices u guys are mentioning, u are using the stock piping? Also, are u guys leaving the resonator on or off? Still not exactly sure what's the point of keeping the resonator. From my understanding, all it does is make the exhaust quieter. Is that correct? I'm planning on switching out my muffler, but don't know if i wanna keep the tail pipe stock looking or put in a SI/DO and run the two pipes straight out the back.
