5.0 Engine Knock

I have a 2011 with 44,000 miles on it. Mine is also making the noise although it doesn't seem near as loud as the other videos I've seen. My question to you guys who have this sound, did it ever sound like mine and has gotten louder over time? I've only had this truck for 2 months and absolutely love it. It runs great and is in like new condition. But the noise is unsettling. Here is my video:

Watch the coolant level closely. If the head gasket leaks steam knock can get very loud.

Mine is just the opposite of yours. It makes the noise more often than not.

On the first one sounds more like a leaking/cracked manifold. Ive have several in the last year 5.0 and 6.2. The noise went away when up to temp. that last one sounds like internal Engine to me. Better get that checked

Ugh...not what I wanted to hear. Thank you for the advice.

It's not a manifold leak. The sound for a manifold leak is different. It's a high pitched tick, most times with a faster cycle time, and generally goes away after 5-10-20 seconds etc. Sounds like this:

I want to say stuck lifter, or slightly collapsed hydrolic lifter, but not sure if these engines even have hydrolic lifters anymore.
This noise doesn't sound like a lower engine noise, but an upper valvetrain noise. Fairly common IMO
