5.0 Engine Cover Installed!!
#42
I finally got around to installing my 5.0 Engine cover. I was able to do this without modifying any hoses. All I had to do was notch out the cover and re-paint it to make it look as factory as possible. Here goes the pics:

oh i bought a set of relocating tubes off another member last year as well. he had them on his truck with old cover. just a matter of draining the coolant down unhooking the hoses, using the stock o rings in the replacements and putting it back together.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I have a few good friends on the force as well. It's cool that you continue to show respect to your friend and his service.

The ball studs are integrated on the 5.0 cover. The cover comes with rubber grommets that you push into the holes on top of the plenum. Everything just snaps into place.
As for the coil covers, you'll need to either purchase the factory plastic studs for it or just use some stainless M6 allen heads which is what I did. They work great.
Here's EVERYTHING and more that you need to know. Happy reading!
