5.0 Engine/Coil covers/K&N CAI installed
Fella's I finally got done with this little project. I installed a set of Roush 5.0 engine cover and coil covers, plus a K&N CAI 63 series. I tried to keep it factory looking as possible, it was a little more work than I thought but I love it.

Coil covers are simple. You will need this part # 40100080006-P which is a plastic 10mm ball stud. You will need 6, but order at least 7 or 8 incase you drop one. You can order them from Roush performance. Ask for Brian they are around 1.50 and 6.50 shipping for all. There are 6 places 3 on each side of your cam covers and these self tap. Search coil covers there are some threads about all of this. You can do the engine cover different ways, but I ran my hoses under the cover like the mustangs. You will have to get some 3/4 heater hose, 4 clamps, and I used Dorman Oem style quick connects Part# 800-418 total of 4. You will have to extend the brake booster vac hose and reroute or move down some more hoses. Here are some pics I posted at the end of this link with info:https://www.f150forum.com/f38/engine...14237/index11/
I hope this helps. There is alot of info and different ways to do this. i just wanted a more OEM look. Thanks for the comments. I do have a video I haven't posted yet that shows my truck with the cover off. I may post that and will let you all know if I do. I ordered my cover and coils off e-bay from Roush performance for $80.00 Also a cold air intake, not stock is a must as far as making it work without cutting it up.
