Inside wheels turn slower than outside wheels and so the computer thinks the outside wheels are slipping.

Plus these trucks spin the tires in the snow easy, you have to baby the throttle if you don't want it to kick in.

I agree though, just hit button once and spin away.

It should be braking the wheels are slipping, otherwise there wouldn't be anything to brake (slow down)....

What programmer are you using to shut off the traction control. I didn't know any programmers had this capability yet. I'm looking forward to learning this info as I want to be able to permantently turn my TC off with a programmer.

I used SCT, but I only turn it off when I'm offroad, because it makes the abs light and traction control icon come on, which irritates me. When I do it this way it does not kick back on at 35 mph, on a recent mudding trip, I was spinning up to 50 mph through some big mud holes, but I was really going maybe 10 mph.

Search "traction control override" in forums. I put my fuse on a switch with a relay to disable the TC 100% when I flick the switch. It does make the abs light come on. Now I rarely disable it but I have used It a few times saved my bunnz just more convent then hooking up a programmer to disable it
