Good Post. It could deff be 4 3/4. Its kinda hard to be sure with it installed. Thanks for the help. I wasnt too far off.

This is a good post man! This should help some others on the fence. I'm definitely happy with my 4" lift. I've always thought it was more proportionate than 6" and 35s. I feel like if I went with 6", I'd have gone with 37s.
Anyway, nice beefy look next to that stock one! I used to have/get pics of my lifted 4runner next to stock ones all the time haha

Thanks guys for checking on the block for me. I was afraid of the block being that big. I have an 09 fx4 6.5 bed currently with an as 2.5" level and stock block. It sits fairly level with that set-up, it might have roughly .5 inch rake. So by your measurements if I install the rancho I'll gain 5" in the front and 3.25" in the back. So I'm thinking I'll have almost 2 inches of rake with the rancho lift. I definitely don't want that much rake. What do you guys think?

I think with the Rancho lift you'll sit pretty level. Here's my 2010 with Rancho 4" and 35s.

Well lift kits measure their lift from the stock front height. So a 4 inch lift is for front only and kit would add a block to rear to level truck. Some think its 4" front and back. (For OPs truck the Rancho 4" lift is actually ~5" comes with 3" rear block I believe for FX4 because I heard the Rancho 4" lift is not really 4"...lol. Go figure).

I did a Rancho 4" lift about 8 years ago on a truck I had then and 4WPW who installed it said its actually more of a 6" kit. Why it says 4", only Rancho knows.

I know this isn't the same but thought I would through it in

My wife's 2008 stock FX4 (black) & my 2012 XTR with 3" leveling kit, both have stock tires at the time.
I have 34" tires now, here are a few pic's of my Truck beside my rides.....I plan to put 35" or 36" BFG's KM2's on

When it's time for new tires I will definitely be going with this kit and 35's. Anybody running a nice aggressive A/T with this set up?
