Thought about a 40" but with the 2 bar grille it would block 25% of the light bar. So I went with the 30" first tried the upper part of the grille and it would have hit the hood latch assembly and now in the process of installing it where the Raptor guys put the 40".

As a matter of coincidence I measured under my hood's grill support and decided a 30" light bar would fit nicely.

I originally considered using a Rigid E-class bar but quickly realized that Rigid uses Hanma parts and assembles them here in the states while charging 3 or 4 times more. I sent out an email inquiry asking Hanma about pricing and quantity and am now waiting to hear back.

The biggest difference is using 3 or 5 watt cree lights (180 or 240w in a 30" light bar). From the light patterns, it sounds like 3w LEDs are very suitable.

I plan on using a white elevator style flush mount ring light mounted on driver's door arm rest, weatherpack under hood connectors, Hella weathertight relay and socket and building my own loom since the universal wiring looms all look very cheesy to my eye.

Whose LED driving lights are you using and do they have a larger light pattern than the stock fog lights?

Greats pics, and those looks awesome! How is the light output? I was worried that the grille would affect it a lot being so close.

Here is an earlier Rigid E-series light bar.

Rigid now makes their own end caps.

Now look at an original Hanma, who manufactures the casing (and very likely all of the inside bits as well) and compare it to the early Rigid.

Hanma isn't good with English and it may very well be that Hanma's site needs updating as the Rigid gen 2 light has different end cps and stand offs. Rigid does use a 5w Cree LED which is brighter than the 3w cree bulbs common to Hanma's regular offerings but since Hamna offers 5w in their curved light bars, I bet they can put them into their straight bars as well.

Anyway, I should know more as soon as I can find an English speaking sales rep and Skype with them.

Double slit test says light doesn't care if the slits are large enough for many protons to pass through since light normally functions as a wave.

For those wondering, the fogs are from Extreme when he was still around. Not sure who his manufacturer was though. I haven't actually had a chance to test both bars at the same time, as I screwed up my wiring and had a short, then had leave for work. Not sure when I'll next have time to redo it, but I'll post output pics for sure when I do.

The ones I've seen on Raptors are using L brackets and they are attached to the hood bumper bolts. So depending on the light bar length the L bracket size will vary.
