did you know that rough country has a hidden winch mounting kit? part #1010.

if so, can i ask why you didn't go that route?

but as for the lift sagging. i don't think it's sagging. if anything, it's plausable to consider the weight of the winch would hold the front end down a bit. not enought to mimic the factory rake, but enough to make a difference when you haul with the truck.

The rough country winch plate is nice and clean. However, I like the bigger look of the westin also I wanted the bull bar look with the lights.

Here is a link to Westin Bull Bar and Winch Tray.......

The winch is a VR8000 Warn with synthetic line.

again, it looks nice chris.

but, why didn't you pull the trigger on a vr10000 or a powerplant 9.5k since you went with westin?

Wow so the 04-08 flares fit 09 and up ? Thanks for taking the chance! Do you have a straight on shot to see the flare of them? Great info again!

I was willing to do that, the truck shop I bought the winch from thought that the 8000 was all I needed.

I haven't used it yet, but I am sure I will this hunting season, there were several times last season I would have enjoyed having something other than a shovel to get out of the deep snow!

Do you have any similar mods on your truck?

I noticed the website said 2004-2008 models...did the holes line up for your 2011? Or did you need to drill new ones? Thanks.
