Hell, I wish we had a winter here. We had a really cold snap right before Christmas but other than that we've had nothing but 50 to 60 degree weather. Barely got some rain. California is in for a big wake up call here in the summer.. I blame it on the people here complaining about the weather all the time, if it goes over 10 degrees either way from 70 people bitch. Plus the pollution from China isn't helping much.

Your truck doesn't wish upon winter. It's the worst!!! Got my bushwacker flares today, added them to the pile of truck parts waiting for spring.

Living in Cali is nice. I hear ya man. The only real winter I've had is going to my grandparents cabin in the snow for a long weeked. LOL. Now that I'm getting the kit I will have more confidence in going in the snow. Now that I am getting the kit, I will probably have to get fender flares. Probably just the extend flares.

Depends on the kit you go with. Rancho's kits allow you to reuse stock rims and tires.

thats good. I like my 20's that are on my FX4. Was wanting to lift and put larger tires on these wheels but keep getting told you have to buy wheels that stick out of the fender. Not really wanting that. Put way to many miles on to have rocks flying up and damaging doors and such. Not to mention you can't keep the truck clean.

I hear ya man. I'm putting a 4in Rancho Lift on my truck and I can use my 17s I have now on my truck. I would like to just get 35s later, once these tires wear out. You can use the stock 20s on the 4 or 6in Lift from Rancho. They are the more expensive kit on the market but also one of the best as far as quality.

The zone kit can use the stock 20 inch rims, I read it in the fine print on there website.
