well if you go to Rough country's web site it says they are out of stock but they told me friday that they will be ready to ship on Monday. If you go to the ford page of there site it has a little poster/pic of a cupon that states "$100 off our most popular lift kits 4"-6" " so when I ordered the sales rep said that was only for the 4" inch kit I told him about the posting and he gave me the discount, plus they give a small military dicount aswell but it wasnt much. hope this helps.

A guy I work with has the RCX 6" kit and the "hockey puck" isnt that noticable to me. He has put 30k miles trouble free miles.

I wanted the rancho 6" kit untill I seen the price difference.

I'm also in the same boat. I went to my local 4 wheel parts truck and jeep fest, literally were trying to bend me over. 2900 installed. Out-freaking-rageous. I really want to go with Rancho. They seem like the best kit but I just can't get over how much people want for installation it's stupid. I can pickup the kit with 9000xl's for around 1300 or 1400. Just trying to find a shop that won't bend me over.

Yeah we only have one shop around here.....They're cool, but apparently think since we're in walmart's hometown, we're all CEO's

Any lift with a spacer will change differential angkes and cause wear. The rancho lift, as others may too, leaves everything back at stock geometry. I think any spacers are a bad idea and will discount ride quality

philupondes 02-22-2014 07:36 PM

^ this is not ture. All lift kits come with diff drops, what do you think the big metal brackets are?? Lift kits have diff drops to get your alignment back within factory specs.

WoooooPIG 02-22-2014 07:37 PM

Oh I know it....I just meant spacers (in a full lift kit with spindles, crossmembers, etc) vs struts (in a full lift kit with spindles, crossmembers, etc)
