That's the wheels I had on my last truck...but with chrome inserts.

Do they come in +12 offset?

They come in 20x9 +18, so only a 6mm difference.

Default 4" lift scheduled for Friday

So, I get home last night and clean up my OEM FX wheels with the Grappler 305-55-20s.

Decide to throw them in my truck to get ready for Friday's lift.

DAMN, those things are heavy! Couldn't get them high enough to get them in the bed so I pulled out the tailgate step, lifted to the step then rolled them up into the bed. Getting to old for this but I still get a kick out of modding my truck. Just have to get the neighborhood kid to do the heavy lifting.

I could only fit 2 of them with the topper closed. They are 33" x 12.5. You never really notice how big they are until they are off the truck. I'll put the other two in there on Friday morning before I go to the shop.

These will do for a while until I can make a decision on the wheels/tires. I still have a good 20-25k miles left on these. Course, knowing me, I won't wait that long before I go to 35's.

Counting the days.

Your 305/55/20 grapplers.....is that as big as you could fit with a 2" level on your stock 20"? I loved the grapplers on my Tahoe and really want to go with them on my Fx4. Any link to pics of them on your truck? Thanks in advance!

Yea, those were the biggest with the OEM wheels. It rubbed the UCA a little at full lock. Once I changed the wheels (Moto Metal - see pictures below) I had to do quite a bit of trimming as well.

The first three pictures are with a 2" level (Blisteins) on my 2011 FX2. These are the OEM wheels and Grapplers I'll be putting on my FX4 after the 4" lift.

These are with the Moto Metals I had on my FX2 before I added the fender flares. As you can see, the wheels stuck out quite a bit and the truck was always dirty with road spray from the tires.

...after the fender flares:

I REALLY REALLY loved the way that truck came out but I needed 4WD to access my off road camp however, this truck was a real head turner and I got complements ALL THE TIME. As a matter of fact, I do get the occasional "Hey Jim, I saw your truck the other day". I sold it locally and it really was one of a kind with the Plastidip around the bottom. People knew it was me coming. Wish it was 4WD cause I'd still have it.

I'll be putting my old 20" FX wheels with Terra Grapplers (305-55) from my previous F150 on until I can decide on a wheel/tire combination. There are too many choices and I'm struggling on what I want.

I have a Tuxedo Black FX4 with red letters/emblems and I want wheels with some subtle red accents.

So far, it's between Tuff T01 (possibly T02) and Ballistic Jester. These all come in black with red inserts.

The tires will be 34.5-35 tall by 11.5-12" wide but don't want them to stick out too far. Looking for 0 to +12 offset on the wheels.

My old FX2 had Motometals with -12 offset and they stuck out pretty far. Had to put Bushwhacker fender flares to minimize the dirt shot up from the tires. Ended up looking fantastic but had a wider stance then I wanted.

We'll see how it looks with the 33's for now. The FX wheels are gunmetal grey and I may Plastidip black for now.

If I go with taller tires, I may have to re-gear.
Truck ought to look great with the lift...have you checked with BDS to see if the stock wheels with the deep backspacing will work with their lift? Some lift manufacturers had certain wheel specs to clear in the front. As I'm sure you know the stock 20's with the +44 offset and close to 6.5 inches of backspacing may be a problem...if you have already checked please disregard this message!!

Have not checked and did not know about that. I can always put the OEM 18" wheels back on...I guess.

I WILL check now.

THANKS!
