What is your rear lift setup? Block+AAL? Lift Spring?

block+AAL = smaller block

lift spring = drop shackle

Im in the office right now but ill post some up here in minute, here's a full breakdown of what I got suspension wise at the moment:

Started out with a rough country 6" lift with the rear blocks and strut spacers up front, since rough country's differential drop isnt a full 6" due to them using the same diff drop on their 4 and 6" kits i decided to lower it to a 4" lift to clean up the angles and ride quality, so then i ordered skyjacker 4" AAL's which came with metal shims to correct the angle of the axle and driveshaft for the the lift height and rancho's 9000xl struts and rear shocks from their 4" kit and ditched the rough country strut spacers and 5" leaf spring blocks. So essentially i have a rough country 4" lift with rancho struts and shocks and a skyjacker AAL instead of blocks. It rides great now, just it has a too much rake and for some reason, i believe it is the metal shims, the leaf spring pop and creak incredibly loud so loud i can hear it with the windows up clearly i hate the way it sounds. It sounds like the axle is about to fall off

Not trying to highjack the thread, but on the subject of shorter shackles. Does a shackle that gives you 1.75 lift affect the pinion in any adverse way? I will be installing the auto spring 1.5 inch front leveling kit with a lift shackle and wasn't sure if I needed to get shims to correct the change in the pinion angle. Any help would be much appreciated
