Needing advice, I currently have a 2wd and have been contemplating on buying the rough country 4" lift kit but had questions. Originally felt it was a bit taboo to "lift" a 2wd truck but with the recent floods in Houston and initially loved the look, reaching out to those that have done this lift for pros/cons... My concern is looking "too" leveled with the provided 2" rear blocks and overall ride quality.

Thanks in advance!

I have the 4in RC lift on my 2wd FX2. Had it on now for almost 2 years. I'm very happy with it I feel the ride is better than stock and have had 0 issues. I say go for it.

Thanks Tyebo, what size tires and wheel are you currently running?
Also, are you still able to park in your garage?

I would say go with it. I kind of regret not doing the 4" or 6" lift since they both were the same price. All I had done was a level kit except my was 2.5 in front and 1.5 rear and then threw on some ko2 315 70/17

Sorry didn't see the garage question. Yes, I can barely squeeze in if I went with the 6in I wouldn't be able to. Why I went with the 4 is bc I wanted to keep it practical having 8 month old twin boys and I still wanted to be able to pull in the garage. Later on down the road if I wanted the 6in I can just contact RC and it's just 350 I believe for the front end components for the 6in.

I got a solid 4" of lift out of the F150 Lifts Boss Coilover suspension. Measured from center of wheel hub to peak of wheel arch. Almost exactly 4" of total lift. Adding stock 4wd rear blocks and taller tires netted shorter than 4 on back, but levels it completely.

Just another option for you if you don't want to go the full lift route and can be done in an afternoon by yourself in a garage.

Appreciated the info, do you happen to know the clearance of your garage? Where I work has a parking garage with a height clearance of 7" and didn't want to risk doing the lift and not able to park in the garage.

Dennis your truck's stance looks good.

I currently have 2.5" front and 2" rear block both from AutoSpring. I have about a 1.5" rake but I'm not happy with the stance.

Thanks for the suggestion TJ, do you have a pic?
How do you like the ride from Coilover? Did you have to change the upper control arm?
