I had the 2.5 and in my opinion it drove like complete garbage. Removing that spacer and putting the suspension lift on is the best thing I ever did. Now the front end geometry is back in its happy place.

What the heck do you know about maintaining a factory ride and nice front end angles?? You're just trying to show someone up!

You are right. It drove much better with the spacer. It didn't cut down the turning radius at all. It didn't make an awful metal on metal clunking noise when I cut the wheel all the way either. I actually get a one billion dollar commission for every suspension lift sold.

Sorry I offered my opinion on something where I had both components. On a site where people look for opinions to make decisions on their own trucks. I don't know what I was thinking.

I totally agree with vinnydstx, I had a 2.5" level and then went with a 4" lift. The difference is huge! The truck rides and steers so much better. Also that clunking noise in my steering is gone.

Two of my friends have 6" lifts. one is an '04 and the other is a '13. The '04 is running a set of 35s and he loves the 6" while my friend with the '13 has 37s and he wishes that he had stayed with a smaller lift. Its all up to personal preference.

With my current Rancho Quicklift, what would I have to do if I wanted to get the Rough Country 4''? Buy stock coilovers or aftermarket again?

I have a 4" and no desire to go to 6". 4 clears 35, retains factory angles, and doesn't leave a big ace gap like a 6" does.

I see absolutely zero advantage of a 6" over a 4" unless you want to try and squeeze 37s on there.

Mine is leveled 2.5 in the front and I haven't heard NY sort of clunk you guys are talking about and as far as driving mine feels the same to me honestly. If I ever find a steal of a deal on a 4" I'll Def get it as long as I can still run my oem fx4 18s

You must stay on some nice, smooth, flat roads or crawl very slowly over bumps.
