Default 4.6L Engine?

Hi, I'm not a die hard Ford guy but I have been looking at some used F150's recently. I found a 2010 at a dealer that has a 4.6L V8 engine. Might be a dumb question but I am wondering if this engine has turbo chargers on it or are only the 6 cyl engines turbocharged? I haven't stopped and looked at it in person yet, only on the website and it does not say. Thanks for any input.

It's naturally aspirated. Twin turbos only came on 11+ 3.5 ecoboost engines

I had a 4.6 in my '97 f150. I had no problem with it, thought it was a fine engine. It towed, it hauled and pulled my family around with not one problem. At least no engine problems. Torque converter clutches went out quick though. Previous owner was towing way too much trailer.

Having said that, I've got an eco now and the difference between models is staggering. Sometimes I feel like I'm piloting a space ship vs a 60's era Falcon in terms of power and tech.

I'll also say that that I like the driving dynamics of the '97 vs the 2011. I find that the better "drivers" vehicle is the older model. Kinda like the Miata is a better "drivers" vehicle than cars that cost 5 times more. Even with the poor "on paper" power.

Depends on if it's the 2v or 3v.. I had a 02 with the old 4.6 2v, and when I got my 2010 I got the 3v 4.6, big difference.

I had that engine in an 02. It was WEAK, and got no better fuel mileage than the 5.4. I never had any problems with it, but I wouldn't buy another truck with it.
