I have a 2013 FX4 and wondering if anyone used this or hear of this? Looks like you can use it with the SYNC (none navigation)

Correct this just came out in December for us guys with the 4.2" screen, plug and play. I also have a 13 FX4 and have sync. Not to sure what you mean if it works with sync. I have never used it myself!!!!

Always kicked myself for not getting the that $6,000 package, plus now that I could my windows tinted its kinda hard seeing out of the back lol

Lol, yeah I know the $6000,00 mark up price for a back up camera. I will be adding that camera kit to my truck soon. Just think if we've spent $6000.00 we would have gotten a terrible Sony sound system that everyone complains about, poor navigation, heated and cooled seats that quit functioning, sunroofs that we only use a few times a year that can potentially break etc lol!!! I think I'll just spend the $550.00 for a aftermarket camera that's probably better than factory!!!

I have the factory backup in my mirror (where I like it). I do wish I could use this for a front cam though.

Be very careful when comparing camera kits. Look at the overall camera quality, warranty, and interface option. The camera linked above for $309 does not come with any screen interface it's just a simple RCA plug on the end so it will certainly not plug right into your 4.2 screen.

Also, the photo shows a square camera in a round hole.. not sure that Ford did it that way?
