Default 4.10 or 3.73?

Ready to order 2011 FX4 screw, ecoboost, 6.5 box, just can't decide which gears to get. When the stock tires on the 20" wheels wear out I will be replacing with whatever I can stuff under the wheel wells with probably just a leveling kit. (34" to 35" from what I've read on this forum). I tow 3500lb trailer for work 4 days a week and 6500lb or so boat on some weekends. So what do you recommend?

WOW, 42 views over 3 hours on a forum full of f150 lovers and no one has an opinion on this. Is it because I'm the new guy or because I haven't showered yet?

4.10. With how much you tow and stuffing the wheel wells, go 4.10. And since your towing so much i wouldnt go any higher than a 34" wheel. I personally would only go 33".

Well, with you eventually going to a 34-35" tire I would recommend the 4.10. Until you get those tires, those 410 gears on stock tires ought to be entertaining to say the least!

I vote the 4.10's.

I have 373s in my Truck...3.5 ecoboost has lots of TQ at low rpms..heck Iam in 6th gear before I get to the end of my driveway with 373s and whith the weight your going to be towing I would not go lower..However I dont know how it would be with the 33s or 35in tires.

I would think 3.73s would be enough.

I believe if you opt for the Max Tow, you only get the 3.73
