3rd Brake Light Issue
Have any of you had a problem with water getting in the housing on the 3rd brake light? I am asking this cause yesterday I was washing my truck and noticed that water go into the housing.
It didn't burn out any bulbs or cause any other problems, but just wondering if you all have had this happen or know whether or not it's a known issue.
I'll ask about it at the dealer today, but wondering if anybody else has had to deal with this so far.

Thanks!
By the way, the whole reason for me creating a new thread was so that I didn't get a 1,000 emails from responses that would be posted in the future on another if I decided to post on it as well.
Sorry if making the new thread made any of you mad or caused problems.

Will be going in for my second fix of this problem next week. Already had them use the new (bigger) seal a year ago... noticed it started leaking again 2 weeks ago in a heavy rain.
The dealership has a guy that only comes every two weeks to fix it ?!?!? not sure what that is about... give me the dang new seal and I can do it myself. Will more than likely use a silicone add to this one to prevent future leaks.

It doesn't make much sense to me since this has been going on for a number of years now, but I guess as long as they will fix it, then I am ok!
