I have xpel brand on my fx4 bumper, mid filler, grille surround and front fender/hood edges. Keeps it looking like new and a lot easier to get bugs off. I put this stuff on all my cars for the last 10 years. They all look mint with no road pepper or chips.

+1 on Xpel. Having the film on really protects the front end. It also makes it a lot easier to clean bugs off without worrying about swirling your paint.

Maybe $100? Each installer has their own rates and varies as well by region.

I see you can buy the kit from xpel and install it yourself ,,, is that what you guys did ,, or did you take it to a shop?

Took mine to a tint shop and had them do the front 1/3 of the hood, front bumper, and the front of the fenders. It was Clearshield brand and cost about $500. Not cheap, but worth it.

I bought relatively complete front end kits for both our F-150 and Acadia Denali. Did DIY install on both. The Denali was far tougher to install. The F-150 surround would be relatively easy to install yourself.

If your patient and articulate in your work, you can get professionally installed results at home.

Reference for you.... Not sure of your year model, this is for a '13 SC. http://www.invisiblemask.com/cgi-bin...SUPER+CREW+CAB

I had an indépendant shop do it that does good work. It was about $500. The precut kits don't seem to have the greatest fit/coverage imo.
