Lightbulb 3M paint protection for painted door handle cups

Took a chick out last weekend and I already see slight finger nail scratches on the inner door handle cup paint. I know it will get worse and have been looking and found a few resources. I figured I would need some kind of custom install but doesn't hurt to ask for ideas!

Be a gentleman and open the door for her and save the expense and trouble.

I'm worried about my nav getting gouged by fingernails. My wife took the paint off the radio buttons on my 2006 F150. I'll have to check the doors and see if they are gettin worn too..

I had my door cups done when I had the front end clear bra'd. My daughter loves painting her nails and she can be sorta careless. Very worthy investment.

I agree; he cracks me up too, with his dry natural humor!!

(And not at the expense of others)

As to the scratches; this is real common on any vehicle with painted cups under the door handle. Fortunately, the relatively soft nails do not go too deep. I just put a little cleaner wax on a micro towel around my index finger, they can be quickly/easily removed and the wax prevents more damage over time.
