really just wanted 37x13.50 for new tires but found a steal of a deal on these 38’s they were about 300$ A set less than the 37’s so went for it
Nice looking truck! I've been wanting to see a similar lift kit as mine on something bigger than 37s like your 38x15.50s using 20x10 wheels. Please share more about it like everyday road manners and any issues you've come across running it at that height; hard cornering and RSC activating.

I’ve had the lift and 37’s for the last 3 years about 35,000 miles never had issues with RSC. Everyday road manners were fine truck was just a bit stiff which would be expected. But that was with 37” E load range cooper STT pros. Now with the D load range 38’s it rides much smoother almost feels like new suspension. Back end still a bit stiff but I attribute some of that to the rough country shocks back there. Soon will be adding bilstein 5100’s in the rear.

That's interesting jsh. My RSC will activate if I take a corner with speed on a downward slope and there's nothing rubbing. I got no pinched or pulled lines either. Even before I went to a live axle setup (RCV kit) it still would do it under specific conditions and now CV boots are finally ripping apart - go figure. So I have to go to a high angle boot for the inners and nip that in the bud. I'm closing in on 2 years with my lift on 37" Toyo R/Ts.

When seeing your lifted truck pics I had to inquire about the road manners with the lift and wheel setup, expecting not to be alone there in mine.. haha sheeeit!
Your lifted truck with those 38x15.50s has got me jelly

Anyway thanks for the reply jsh. Appreciated!

Braking isn’t that bad really def not as easy as before. But I very rarely tow anything I’m sure that’s where you’d feel a huge difference. Brakes are on the to do list now as my pads were worn and rotors are needed to be turned. So today getting the power stop Z36 kit there’s a rebate on them this month. Drilled and slotted rotors front and rear and upgraded pads. Hope returns me to stock feeling stopping ability. Although haven’t been concerned with stopping over last 35k miles

Very odd you have that issue? I also have never had issues with my cv joints either. Maybe differences in lifts? Did you upgrade UCA’s?

Ive been lucky my truck is still fun to drive and easily an every day commuter. I hope to clean it up soon if this bad weather ever starts and get some actual good pictures!
