Default 37's under 6 inch lift?

Lemme first start by saying I know there are plenty of threads about lifts and tires, but I am looking for specifics which I have not found yet. I have a 2012 f150 that currently sits stock. I have a 6 inch rough country lift sitting at home waiting to be installed. Is there any way that I can fit 37 inch tires under the lift?

Ive seen a few trucks on this forum who have fit 37s with a 6 inch lift, but it seems like they have the BDS or Procomp lifts...so I'm wondering if that is possible with a rough country system? If not, what can I do to fit them?

Thank you for any help!

Depends what wheel you plan to run...then there's a gearing issue for the larger than life rubber you will be turning...

I've researched this a bit as well and from what I can tell, 37s will fit with 5-5.5 inches of backspacing on a 9" wheel. Prepare for some slight valance trimming as well. Just don't plan on 37s and some 20x12 Fuels or anything like that.

Install bilstein 5100 in the front set at 1.5" when you do your lift. That's what I did and there's plenty of room. I still have 35's, but if you don't have a deep offset wheel, they'll def fit. Hope this helps

Really depends on offset of wheel. I have about 8.5" of lift and I still had to trim the front valance a little with 0 offset wheel 22x9.5 on 37's.

If you did like a +18 or higher rubbing wouldn't be as bad.

Thanks for the help! I notice your truck is an ecoboost also. How does it run with the lift and 35s? Mpg, and power? also, do you have a tuner or CAI or anything on it?

I have 37's need to update the sig. I have SSI tune and it runs awesome. I only have 3.55 's and it still has ton of power.

here is my build thread https://www.f150forum.com/f38/brad20...thread-237740/

Your truck looks great Brad! What kind of tuner do you have and where'd you get the tune? That may be a dumb question but I dont have mush experience with them since I kept my last 5.4L stock.

It runs great. I have an airaid cai, afe 4" exhaust, and sct tune. It has plenty of power for the 35's. I'll be going to 37's also after my body lift. Right now I'm getting almost 12 mpg in town, and 13.5 on interstate if I keep it at 70.

This.

I run 35" Trail Grapplers with 20" BMF wheels (0 offset) & a 6" Rough Country with room to spare. To accommodate 37s you will need the Bilsteins as well. Keep the offset within reason and you will fit them no problem.
