So I still have no answer to the rubbing issue with no level. Pawpaw made me really want to level but leveling will be counter productive 99% of the time I drive this truck so I still know I shouldn't.

On my '11 I was able to run my 305x55x20's at stock height (33.2x12.6) with no rubbing...look's like I had a little room to spare for maybe a 34" tall tire max. Going to a 34.5" tire may or may not rub at stock height in the front. If possible you may want to test fit one first. The 09-13's have a little more room in the front wheelwell's then the 04-08's did.

Why are you against leveling? I drive my 04 daily and have the 2.5" leveling kit with no issues.
