Default 305 (or wider) tires on stock 18s

I'm assuming all the 18s are just 7.5" wide. Has anyone had problems getting the bead to seal or have any problems down the road??

no problems getting the 305 on the wheel... I wouldn't suggest wider..they may hit the UCA..

I put 12.50" on my stock 18's. Had to add a 1/4" spacer to gain a little more clearance between the sidewall and UCA.

They've been on for almost a year now with no issues.

I'm interested in this also. It seems your really limited with your tire sizes from some manufacturers when you have the stock 18's. I like my stock rims and would like something in the 34"...x 11"...range.

FWIW, i *think* the stock 18s on the 09-14 are 8" wide, not 7.5" .

Any side and/or front pictures of said set-up?

Tire might be bitt too wide for 7.5" wheel.
Some 18's are 7.5" and some are 8" wide, still not wide enough for a 12" tire, just my opinion.

Maybe I should stop being lazy and pull one off but anyone know the width of the KR 18s then? Anything I could find was 7.5". Most 12" wide tires call for a min 8.5" wide wheel but I've seen people doing it! Maybe they just don't tell the headaches they have.

Second picture shows clearance between sidewall and UCA with 1/4" wheel spacer
