Next I gotta make sure I like the look of the 420s tires lol They're in great shape and at $200 it's a good deal. Was going between them and a set of 285/45r22 Duelers.
Careful with that, there isn't much sidewall with that tire. The raptor's can pull it off because of the amount of sidewall on the 17" wheels. The sidewall can flex so it is more forgiving. The limited wheels are 8.5" wide and you are trying to put a 12" wide tire on it with a very little sidewall, you might want to call a tire shop and double check if that is going to work. It should work but not ideal and you might have issues if you load your truck with a lot of weight. It was one of the reasons why my limited now has 20"s.

I'm not doubting your logic at all. That's actually why I asked about these tires having issues. But why are so many ships installing these tires on these wheels? The Harley wheels and Limited wheels are the same, just different colors.

In the end though, I think I'm just going 285/45 to avoid these issues. But I love the look of the 305 lol

You think I will rub on a 2015 with that exact tire setup at factory height? I have a lariat, but got my hands on some factory 22” limited wheels. That size is exactly what I want, but only if there is zero rubbing.

8.5.5
Nothing a 1/4" slip on spacer wouldn't solve. No rub 305/45 terra grappler g2's on my '13

I just love the look of 305 wide. Mine is more for performance though. I can’t get traction to save my life with what I have. Right now I’m just finishing up the tread on the factory tires and wheels. I know the 22’s with 305 will with more, but I can deal with that
