Default 3.7 engine knock?

Hey guys asking for help with a knock-like noise the truck started developing recently. 3.7l 4x2 screw 140k. Noise started about 10k ago but has been getting more noticeable recently. Only occurs when in gear and at a full stop. Sounds like a knocking sound coming from behind the right side dashboard. If I let up of the brake, no gass, sounds dissipates away. Put the truck in park/neutral/reverse noise goes away. The only thing I noticed is that in drive it will idle at about 500rpm, but in park it sits at 6-700 rpm. Im a diy kind of guy but am completely stumped as to where to even start here.

Thanks

Curious if you ever were able to determine what was going on here. I have one doing the exact same thing. Slight tap when warm but seems to go away when I remove the serpentine belt. I replaced the water pump and idler and tap still exsist. Looking for any ideas
