3.55 or 3.73 with 6.2L?

My own 2014 F150 6.2 config about to be special ordered includes 3.73 E-locker within config specs. I live in the mtns and frequently tug a smallish 3300# TT, although want gearing best suited for just a bit more. I've read on SD forums that the 6.2 is happiest at higher RPMs, so 3.73 should help find it's sweet spot...

Again, 3.73's. When I ordered my '11 6.2 Lariat and Max Tow, I went with the 3.73 LS rear as an option. At the time the 6.2 could be ordered only with the Max Tow package which came with 3.55's. I have a place in the Mountains of West Virginia (Keyser, Burlington). I tow a custom built 7x14 tandem axle enclosed trailer. I tow my Polaris Ranger HD with it. Weight with Ranger and acc. is probably around 3,500-3,600 lbs.. Not terribly heavy. Once I'm there I have to tow it up a dirt lane, it's incline averages 9%, and rises to 13% at some points. This is where I like the 3.73's.

3:73 and elocker. So far, I like the combo. The 3:73 for pulling and generally more pep off the line.
And who care how much more gas it burns... The 6.2l does a good job anyhow!
