Default 3.5 Ecoboost owners with higher mileage?

Any Ecoboost owners out there with higher mileage that can offer comments good bad or otherwise. Still a bit undecided on the new 5.0 or 3.5 EB. Have not heard too many bad things on the 5.0. Most EB comments I have read appear to have fairly low miles. I have heard about issues with gas in the oil, timing chain issues to name a few. I also know people tend to only report the negatives(probably myself included ). I tow a 30' TT which runs about 6500# loaded with approximately a 850# tongue wt. Appreciate any feedback!

I have a 2013 4x4 with 56-57k miles on it. I tow a trailer at least once a week. I've never weighed the trailer and goods, but they probably total 2500-3000 lbs. The EcoBoost does great towing what I need it to and I haven't had any trouble with my truck. It's smooth, quiet and fun to drive. If I were to get a new truck, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another EcoBoost!

You will LOVE the way the EB tows that TT......it is the best towing engine in the market, and that includes the FIAT diesel in the Ram.
I tow about the same weight, and on grades, you will be passing every other 1/2 ton engine on the market that is towing like they are standing still.

I have a 2011 Ecoboost with 80k miles on it. Never had an issue, runs great. Will definitely look at another.

I've had a 2012,13,and now a 2014, probably a total of 52,000 between all 3, I'd buy number 4

Read up on the 5.0 more. Plenty of engine issues. No reliability edge over ecoboost. The Eco has superior power everywhere except maybe the extreme top of rpm range, but nobody runs a truck at redline constantly so who cares right?

I've had two tuned ecos and towed plenty with them. The other engine options are like toys in comparison and the Ecos have been bulletproof for me and many others.
