I like my 3.73s.

I would think lower gears would help city mileage as its easier to get it rolling.

I would get at least 3.55s, but I would opt for 3.73s personally.

I have 33" tires and 3.73s. I honestly wouldn't mind 4.10s as I do a lot of towing.

This is the exact information I was looking for. From the guys I've spoken with the 3:31s don't seem like they get as good as mileage as the 3:55s.

With the 6-spd transmission, cruising rpm is not excessive, if I remember correctly at 70 mph my rpm is about 1600. Another plus: on resale, 3:73's have always been a positive selling point.
My 2009 with 6 speed 3:55 was 72 mph at 2000 rpm. 20 mpg.
