I have a 2010 with the 5.4 engine and 3.31 ratio. I would have rather had a lower gear but had to settle because of the timing and price of truck. I have since added level and 35x12.5 tires on stock 20" wheels. I was a bit worried about performance loss, but decided to go for it with plans for programmer, intake, exaust, and gear change down the road. I have noticed an appreciable loss on take-off, but not to the point that I regret getting bigger tires. I won't win a race off the line, but does fine around the city without much change in the shift points. On the highway, the truck does fine with holding 6th gear and turning around 1900 rpms at 75mph. If there is a stiff headwind, it will stay in 5th gear around 2100 - 2200rpms at 75mph. I live on relatively flat land and havent had a problem with the truck "hunting for gears". Given that, I've decided to hold off on any engine mods until the warranty is gone. Not trying to sway you, just letting you know about my experience with my setup. Good luck with your decision

Never have hand calculated because I could care less. Lie-o-meter on dash previously said around 14, now 11.9. I have never reset the avg. This is approx 90% city driving to and from work (about 7 miles one way) with 15 min warmup in mornings. This is without having the speedometer recalibrated.

35x12.5x20 Mickey Thompson Baja atz. Tires actually measure 34.5x12.5 per their website specs.

2.5" autospring front spacer and 3" rear replacement block. Kept the factory 20s. Fit great without any rubbing except on the UCA at full lock which has only happened once as I was testing out my limits after getting the tires installed. No trimming required.
