Default 295/70r18 Question......

I have shuffled through the wheel and tire guide a few times. I seen alot of people running this size some rubbing some not. Looking at a 2 inch level and love the look of these tires. Truck is a Screw 6.5 foot bed. Thought about 285/65/18 but for nearly the same money i can get the 295's. I would like to see pics of a similar set up either tire size. Any advice is appreciated.

Here ya go. The wheels are 18x9 with a +20 offset. Minor trimming on the front plastic

I'm in the same boat. I have considered slightly smaller sizes like a 305 65 18, but I can get the 295's cheaper. Think I'm going that route. Now it's a matter of Nitto Terra's or trails and I'm leaning trails. Go big or go home, right? The rims I'm looking at are dick Cepek torque in an 18x8.5 with a +20mm offset. AutoSpring says they will fit with their 2" level. National Tire and Wheel said to stay with a positive offset.

Here is Nitto Trail Grapplers 295/70/18 with 2" level and they don't rub at all. Maybe with offset wheels you might rub some but with stock wheels you won't have any problem

Same here except that I can rub at times. My ranch hand bumper sticks out a bit and if I hit a hill just right I scrub.

I forgot to mention 0 offset and 5back spacing. Some rubbing but not a lot.

I second the fact that you should have no rubbing with stock wheels. Although I have a 2.5" level instead of a 2 but it shouldnt make any difference.

I guess I should mention it is an ecoboost and has a 3.31 rear end. The rear end has me leaning toward 33's but the 295's at 34 ish look so good.
