Default 295/70/18 on stock truck

I need new tires soon and my buddy just put the new nitto Terra's in a 295/70/18 on his 2011 5.0 with no level and they don't rub. I want to do the same but I'm afraid they will rub. How many of yall are doing this?

Well that escalated quickly. I can't imagine that size tire fitting with no rubbing without at least a level. But I can't be for certain

Rubbed like a biatch on the front bumper even with a 2" level almost ripped the bumper off between the tire shop and work so I could trim the lower valance . I don't think your gonna fit stock. I haven't had to trim anything behind the front wheels even clears my factory ford mudflaps full lock and off-roading . Maybe if you trim the valance . Maybe.

They won't rub at all, no way. Go for it.

I can't see them not rubbing I have a 2" level on stock wheels and it is close. Are you sure your buddy isn't running 275/70R18 because they will fit without a level

I appreciate the helpful responses.

I am currently running 275/70/18 with no mods and was curious to see how many trucks were able to run the 295/70/18 without a level. He definitely has 295's on a stock truck and he says the don't rub.

I'm probably going to play it safe and stick with 275's in the new BFG.

Thanks again
