Default 295/65/R20 or 35x12.50R20 on a 2.5" leveling kit

Hi guys I have a 2013 FX4 with a 2.5" leveling kit in the front and 3" blocks in the back that I would like to do a 6" lift on but I would like to split the cost of tires and the lift up by doing tires first then the lift shortly after so anyways could I run ether 295/65R20's or 35x12.50R20's on my leveling kit til I get my lift I have 20" KMC rims with what I believe is 15mm offset their website says they come in 15mm or 35mm offset but the dealer put the rims on so I don't know for sure but they don't really stick out so I'm thinking they are the 15mm offset
But here's a link to them

Thanks everyone

depends if the wheels are +15 or -15 offset and what the backspaceing is...35/12.50/20 are 13.5+ wide... 295/65 are 35" tall and 12" wide...I would go with them.

If they are both positive offest then the 35mm will be further in the wheel well and the 15mm will stick out a little bit more. You would want close to stock offset if your Going to run the 35/12.50, which is +44 if u had the 18s.

Yuo could run either tire and be fine. The 295/65/20 will be a little narrower but about 35.5" tall. Where the 35x12.50 will be wider but a 35" tire.

My Trail Grappler's are 295/65/20 and actual size is 35/12 on a 9" wheel...you gotta remember the tire will measure different on different size wheels..

General rule of thumb is +/- .2" of section width for every +/- .5" of rim. A 35" tire is measured off of a 10" rim. Where as a 295/65r20 is measured on an 8.5" rim.

At the risk of asking a question that I'm sure has been covered elsewhere (but I don't have time to search thru a gazillion threads), what is the largest tire size that I can fit on a stock FX4 w/ the stock 20" wheels? TIA!

Ok I found out my rims are 35mm offset with 6.13 backset I would prefer to run the 35x12.50R20 if I could cause I think it would look better with my lift when I do it but I would run the 295/65R20 if I had to
