You are right, their computer can only do that, but their computer/tuner isn't the only game in town. SCTs can calibrate to pretty much any size you put in there. It isn't that the trucks computer can't take different settings, it is the computer they connect that only has certain settings to input.

if Ford can only adjust for factory tire sizes, pretty sure they have to enter your gear ratio. say you have a 3.55 and go an inch bigger, have Ford enter 3.31 final gear ratio. same with a 3.73 enter 3.55. my hand held tuner, you have to enter tire size and gear ratio that i have for Mustang GT. changing gear ratio on Fords tuner seems like it would be closer to being accurate to mph.
